I'm a guy currently forced to spend 2 years of his life justifying the most obvious things using fancy MBA Jargons ... This, after 4 years of learning to decipher jargons as an engineer !!!
Cliches became cliches because they worked... here are some that stayed with me:
"An honest voice is louder than a crowd's..." Prof. D. K. Sharma - IIT Bombay
"If you decide to die poor, you can do a many great things in life..." April to Frank (From the movie "Revolutionary road")
"No one forgets the truth; they just get better at lying"
IIM A Prof to a guy skimming through his textbook in class:
"You are like the idiot who watches a blue film on his wedding night !"
Grey's Anatomy
"Why do you keep hitting yourself with a hammer? .... Cos it feels so good when you stop !"
Random orkut profile
"The true worth of a person is determined by the way he/she treats those who can do him absolutely no good"
Online tug-of-war (one guy to another, loved the phrase)
"Spare me the horror ..."
A senior's status message
"To jump without a net is the scariest thing imaginable and it's the essence of courage. To weave a net first the essence of intelligence. The Definition of Insanity is to jump believing you can weave the net midair."
African Saying (From "The Interpreter")
"Vengeance is the lazy form of grief..."
Bella in Twilight
"I've never given much thought to the way I'd die, but dying in the place of someone I love seems like a good way to go!"
